Choosing the correct size of wetsuit can be a tricky business. There are quite a number of variables involved if you want it to fit as perfectly as possible.
One way of getting round this problem is to 'try before you buy'. Fortunately, 2XU and UGOsport offers just such a service during the main season at the open water swim training sessions held at Liquid Leisure in Datchet nr Windsor.
Swim sessions are held four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 06.00 to 08.45. You can borrow wetsuits to get the right sizing for you and combine it with some swim training as well! For more details check out: www.openwaterswim.co.uk. All our wetsuits are checked thoroughly before shipping to ensure they are free from any defects, nicks or splits. Due to the need for extra mobility in the water, triathlon-specific wetsuits are made from much softer rubber than normal. It's easy to damage a suit when you put it on, particularly if you have long fingernails! Please be careful with your suit when you put it on.
